We believe that recruitment and selection form the ‘entry point’ to every sector and more importantly for the health and social care sector. We therefore pride ourselves with a robust and structured recruitment process that meet regulatory and legal requirements for the sector. As a result, there is good comfort in the suitability of any of our designated care staff we may provide. This would have followed on from a properly structured interview process, vetting, DBS checks and reference procedures.
Our regular quality assurance visits, quality controls and spot checks help with our safeguarding duty.
Among the accredited mandatory and statutory training provided our care staff include the Care Certificate Standards, Safeguarding Adults at Risk, Safeguarding Children, Medication Awareness, Fire Safety, Mental Capacity Act & Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, First Aid Basic Life Support, Infection Control and Prevention, Dementia Awareness, Health and Safety, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Food Hygiene, People Movers’ Moving and Handling, Nutrition & Fluids, GDPR, COSHH, Risk Assessment.
In addition, all our Care Workers are either Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care qualified or working towards the qualification in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Our Care Manager and Care Coordinators are also either qualified in or working towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services qualification.
